BSF issued a recruitment notification
for the Posts of Assistant Commandant (GD) in the ITPB, BSF and CRPF and SSB
through Limited Departmental Examination for SI (Sub-Inspector) – GD and
Inspectors – GD Candidates. Eligible candidates who fulfil all eligibility
criteria can apply on prescribed format of application on or before 07 August
2015. Full vacancy details like age limit, educational qualification etc. are

- ITBP : 06 Posts (UR – 05, SC - 01)
- BSF : 93 Posts (UR – 74, SC – 13, ST - 06)
- CRPF : 29 Posts (UR – 23, SC – 04, ST - 02)
- SSB : 24 Posts (UR – 20, SC – 03, ST - 01)
Educational Qualification : Candidates should possess Graduation Degree from a
recognized university as applicable to Assistant Commandant (Direct Entry).
Age Limit : Candidates
upper age limit for appearing in the LDCE-2014-15 will be 35 years as on
01.08.2014.
Pay Scale :
Rs. 15600 – 39100 + G.P. (5400/-)
Service : The
candidate should have completed 04 year of regular service as on 01.01.2014 in the
rank of Sub-Inspector (GD)/Inspector (GD) including period of training and
should have clear record of service as prescribed by respective CAPFs.

Selection Process : Eligible
candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test,
Physical Standard Test, Interview and Personality Test + Medical Test.
