Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess MD (Bacteriology/ Paediatrics/ Anaesthesiology/ Radiology/ ENT/ Obstetrics and Midwifery/ Medicine) for post A-1 (i to vii), M.S (Surgery) for post A-1 (viii), D.M Nephrology for post A-1 (ix), recognized Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 for post B-1, recognized degree in Ayurveda for post G-2. Age Limit: Candidates age should be 45 years and below for post A-1, B-1, C-2, E-1, 2, G-1, 2, H-1, between 18-45 years for post C-1, D-1, F-1 as on 01.01.2015. (Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for bonafied SC/ ST/ OBC/ WFF/ PwD of Himachal Pradesh & for H.P Govt. employees and Ex-Servicemen of H.P as per rules)

Pay Scale : Rs. 37400 - 67000/- + G.P. (8900/-)

Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 400/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates of H.P) either through ‘e-Challan’ at any branch of Punjab National Bank or through ‘e-Payment’ option by using Debit or Credit Card of any Bank. No Fee for Ex-Servicemen of H.P.

Selection Process: Eligible Candidates who fulfil all eligibility criteria will be selected on the basis of their performance in  Screening test/ written examination & interview.
