Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Haryana issued a notification regarding online applications for Pre-Matric Scholarship For 2015-16. Students belonging to Minority Communities can apply online from the official website of the department. Full details like conditions for scholarship etc. are given below.

Conditions for Scholarship :
  • Students should be resident of Haryana State.
  • Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parent/guardian (Father and Mother both) from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh.
  • Income certificate from the employer for employed parents/guardian (Father and Mother both) or certificate to be issued by the competent authority (SDM/Tehsildar) declared by the State Government without which application will be rejected.
  • Minority Certificate should be issued by 1st class Magistrate (SDM/Tehsildar) without which application will be rejected.
  • Aadhar Card Number is required to apply online.
  • The scholarship amount to students under pre matric scholarship scheme will be disbursed directly to the students bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer mode.
  • Continuation of the scholarship in subsequent years will depend on successful completion of the course during the preceding year.
  • Scholarship holder under this scheme will not be able to avail any other scholarship/stipend for pursing the course.
  • The bank accounts for all eligible students (class 1st to 10th) should be opened in the name of students.
  • Students should fill their own/parents/guardian bank account number, PAN Card Number to applying online application & their Bank Account Number should be Aadhar enabled.
  • 30% of the scholarship are reserved for girl students.
  • Scholarship will not be given to more than two students in a family.
