Eastern Railway, Kolkata issued
a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Outstanding Sports Person for
the disciplines of Archery, Athletics, Cricket, Weightlifting, Power lifting
& Other (Category 1 & 2) Posts against Sports Quota (Men & Women)
for the year 2016-17. Eligible candidates who fulfill all eligibility criteria
can apply on prescribed application format on or before 08.02.2017 at 17:30 Hrs
& 23.02.2017 at 17:30 Hrs for remote areas. Full vacancy details like age

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree from a recognized
University or its equivalent for Post 1, 12th class (+2 Stage).
Age Limit:
Candidates age should be 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2017.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of trial and interview.
Examination Fee:
Candidates should pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ Women, Minorities and
Economically Backward Classes) payable in Indian Postal Order (IPO Payable at
GPO, Kolkata) drawn in favour of F&CAO, Eastern Railway Kolkata.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates who fulfill all eligibility criteria can send their
applications along with copies of relevant certificates, two self-addressed
envelopes (size 11 c.m. x 5 c.m.), two recent passport size photographs, in an
envelop must be superscribed as “Application For Sports Quota Recruitment For
The Year 2016-17″ by post to the Chief Personnel Officer, Eastern
Railway Headquarters, Eastern Railway Sports Association’s (ERSA) Office, 17, Netaji Subhas Road, Fairlie Place,
Kolkata-700001 OR to be dropped in the box placed at ground floor in front of
the Eastern Railway Sports Association’s (ERSA ) Office on or before 08.02.2017
at 17:30 Hrs & 23.02.2017 at 17:30 Hrs for remote areas.
