Indian Army issued a
recruitment notification for the recruitment of Havildar (Education) Posts in
Science and Arts streams in the Army Educational Corps of Indian Army for male
candidates. Eligible candidates who fulfill all eligibility criteria can apply
online on or before 30.05.2017 for Civilian Candidates & apply Offline for
Serving Combatants on Remusteration. Full vacancy details like age limit,
educational qualification, selection process, application fee & how to
apply are given below.
Name of the Post:
Havildar (Education)
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation / Post Graduation
degree from a recognized university, have working knowledge of either English
or Hindi or both, B Sc / B Sc(IT) / BCA / BE / B Tech / M Sc / M.Sc(IT) / MCA /
M Tech in any one of the subject from Science Stream, BA / MA (with or without
B Ed) with any of the subject from Arts stream as prescribed in the
notification.
Age Limit:
Candidate age limit should be 20 to 25 years (i.e. Candidates born between 01.10.1992
and 30.09.1997 inclusive of both dates) for Civilian Candidates, 20 to 28 years
of age as on 01.10.2017 (i.e. Candidates born between 01.10.1989 and 30.09.1997
inclusive of both dates) for Serving Combatants on Remusteration.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination, Teaching
Aptitude Test and Interview.
How to Apply:
For Remusteration Candidates (Off-line): Eligible candidates can send their application filled
strictly as per Pro-forma given in the notification along with the required
documents to respective Record Offices who will then forward the same to
concerned Headquarter Recruiting Zones or Independent Recruiting Office (Delhi
Cantt) nearest to the place of posting of the candidate. Top outer cover of
envelope should be contained as “Application For Havildar Education 2018” in
red ink.
For Civil Candidates (Online): Eligible candidates can apply online through the
website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in on or before 30.05.2017.
Instructions to Apply Online:
- Candidates log on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
- Go to JCO / OR Entry & Select the desired post.
- Read the Notification & Instructions carefully.
- Click on Registration if he/ she would be new user.
- Click on apply Online if candidate already registered.
- Fill all the details in the application & submit the form.
- Now take a print out of online application for future use.
Important Dates:
- Starting Date to Apply Online: 01.05.2017.
- Last Date to Apply Online: 30.05.2017.
